As many events have had to turn digital this year, the UK’s largest commercial television broadcaster, ITV, were looking for a platform to host their first digital event, Fast Forward.
With Oak’s unique homepage manager and ability to upload digital material with ease, ITV was able to host their event directly through their intranet. Keep on reading to discover how we worked alongside ITV to create a successful and engaging digital event.
Using Oak during our digital events series made us realise what was possible on the platform that we weren’t aware of before. They helped us with the design, process, reporting and post-event comms. They ensured the whole process went smoothly and supported us every step of the way.
We were looking at external platforms to host the events series which would have come at a cost. Oak provided us with a solution that was free and on the platform that we already knew how to use and which our colleagues were familiar with. This meant we didn’t have to introduce our colleagues to a new platform and everything was housed in one place.
Using Oak meant we were able to be more productive as a team, use our time more efficiently and be fully prepared for each event we hosted.
Our experience with the Oak team has been great during this series, in particular Jamie Jalleh, who designed all three pages for us and supported us with the process of changing pages each day and CTO, Mark Rooks, who was always there if we needed any technical support and provided us with detailed reporting during and after the events.
