Why work at Oak?

Flexible working, health cover and pension contribution are just the start. We also offer regular team social events which add to our culture. Plus more…

Hybrid Working

Here at Oak, we understand that 9-5 doesn’t work for everyone. That’s why we allow our people to design their own working patterns based on what works for them. We work from our Newcastle office two/three days a week.

We want everyone to have the rest they need and deserve. That’s why we offer a minimum of 25 days holiday, we also offer additional “Oak bank holidays” on top of the 8 statutory ones as well as 5 additional holidays if you need them.

Health and Wellbeing

When you join Oak, you’ll get access to private health insurance for you and your close family members.

Life Insurance

Should the worst happen, we will take care of your nearest and dearest with financial support of 4x your gross annual salary.

‘Employee Assistance Program’ (EAP)

A free-to-use service that provides counselling for a number of things such as bereavement, stress, depression and work-life balance.

We offer a pension plan to help you save for the future. We will contribute 3% of your salary.

Social Events

We’re a friendly bunch and have regular social events throughout the year to get to know each other.

Fitness Membership

We care about your health and wellbeing. That’s why we offer £30 towards any fitness membership every single month.

Here’s what our people think

It’s the people that make Oak great. So here’s what they think about working here.

“The company's undergone a few changes in the past year or so, all for the better. Management seems to have a good vision of where they want the company to go, and they communicate that clearly and regularly. Staff are trusted to do the job they're paid to do, and there's plenty of opportunity to grow and progress if you're willing to put in the work. Everyone's really friendly and helpful, plus the company perks are better than I've had at previous jobs; unlimited holidays, private health insurance, gym contribution, Oak Bank Holidays. The list goes on and on..”
Jamie Jalleh - Brand Design Manager
“I have worked at Oak Engage for over two years and it has been a joy. The level of autonomy and trust is great and my opinions and ideas are valued and respected. It’s so refreshing to be part of a company that values and trusts its employees to make meaningful contributions. The work-life balance and their focus on employee wellbeing is also amazing with some great benefits including flexible working and Oak Bank Holidays.”
Emma Williamson - PR & Partnerships Manager
“Good culture, good people, good business plan and positive outlook in general! Great place to work. Empowered and trusted to make a difference in your own respective field.”
Josh Hummerston - Demand Generation Manager
