Welcome to March’s Oak update!

Spring has officially sprung and we are back with a load of great new Oak functionality updates to share with you!

This month’s highlights include:

  • Google Analytics integration
  • Device-based Homepage Customisation
  • Third party applications integration

Google Analytics Integration
View your intranet’s usage statistics through Google Analytics

This feature adds a huge amount of value to those of you who already use Google Analytics. Essentially, you can now report on the usage of your Oak intranet through the GA platform. See how many people are visiting pages, bounce rates and duration of time on the page – great insight for optimising the user experience across your whole intranet. All you need to do is add your Tracking ID into a simple Oak interface and away you go!

Device-based Homepage Customisation
Determine which homepage content is shown, depending on user’s device

Not only can you specify when Oak homepages appear and who sees them, you can now determine which devices they appear on! This feature provides an additional level of flexibility for showing necessary content for users who are frequently on the road.

Third Party Applications Integration
Support for Security Assertion Markup Language in Oak

You can now set up Oak as the single intranet from which, users can launch and access other applications without the need to sign on again.

Oak can now act as an Identity Provider, which means once a user is logged in to Oak, they can use that identity to sign in to other third party systems, such as LearnUpon, and or other appropriate systems for your users, perhaps access to a shift rota or other customised applications

There are a few other updates also…
Alongside these main highlights, there have been plenty of other features added to Oak this month, including automated invitation emails after data import, more notices features, Oak Integration Services improvements, user manager export functionality and much more!

If you would like any further information on these updates, please contact us, we would love to tell you more!
