At Oak we live and breathe Internal Communications. Our software has been designed to help companies from around the world improve communication and streamline internal processes. We know internal communication is important to our customers, so it’s paramount that we address this key area in the content that we produce.

We are currently looking for a Marketing Content Specialist to focus specifically within this area.

You will need to understand our product, our brand values and have a keen grasp on how to address key our customer’s pain through exciting and thought-provoking content. You will need to be a strong communicator with a flair for persuasive writing and in-depth insights, explaining subject matter in a way that will interest key influencers and players in our B2B audience.

As part of the content team, you will play a pivotal role in realising Oak’s Internal Comms vision. You will have the ability to write engaging thought-provoking pieces in the internal comms stratosphere and will have no problem ingraining yourself within the Internal Comms community, establishing yourself as an expert and authoritative industry voice.

You will create content across the full range of digital and traditional channels, targeting messages based upon relevant data and personas. You will be contributing to the website and social media – writing case studies, whitepapers and thought leadership content.

What you’ll do:
  • Manage a content diary to feed into our blogs and social media
  • Working with colleagues across the organisation to keep informed of new product releases, so key dates, new products and location launches are all planned in
  • Liaise with our Brand Design team and PR Officer to ensure we have quality digital assets, infographics and story ideas which can get coverage
  • Help in the management of all digital and brand assets
  • Ensure brand guidelines are always followed and work with our Brand Designers to produce marketing materials
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and proactively seeks out opportunities
What you’ll need:
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in English or a communications discipline, or with extensive practical experience
  • First-class creative writing with the ability to interpret a technical subject into language appropriate for both consumer and business audiences
  • Excellent knowledge of the principles of plain language
  • Experience in developing and managing campaign content
  • Experience and a sound understanding of blogging

How We're Operating Through COVID

As a Company, we are currently all working remotely full time. We will arrange to onboard you remotely and any equipment will either be shipped to you or we will arrange a COVID safe visit for you to collect equipment from our office.
