Bucks New Uni shortlisted in THE Awards

Bucks New Uni shortlisted in THE Awards

We are thrilled to announce that Buckinghamshire New University has been shortlisted in three categories of THE Awards 2020.

Bucks New University partnered with Oak to launch their employee engagement app in October 2019 and it has been a great success ever since. Head of Communications, Louise Harvey and Senior Communications Manager, Kelly Young worked closely with Oak to create BEN. BEN is used across the university community to distribute digital first communications and has also been a great help to the university during the COVID-19 crisis to keep their workforce connected.

The THE Awards celebrates the outstanding work and achievements from UK universities and is the biggest celebration of UK higher education in the calendar year. As with many events this year, the awards will be celebrated virtually on the 26th November 2020.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nick Braisby, was delighted to be shortlisted across the three categories. The three categories include; Outstand Marketing/Communications Team, Outstanding Technician of the Year, Widening Participation or Outreach Initiative of the Year.
